Chyron Extends BlueNet Workflow with MediaMaker

Chyron announced that MediaMaker, a turnkey solution that seamlessly integrates Chyron graphics with file-based workflows, is now available and shipping. This new addition to Chyron’s CAMIO newsroom workflow product line uses Lyric file-based rendering to create graphics for use in editing systems such as Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects.

By equipping the editing suite with the Chyron BlueNet workflow, including Chyron’s LUCI template fulfillment and Axis World Graphics content creation and order management system, MediaMaker gives video editors and graphic designers access to the same graphics and animations that are being used live on the air.

“Consistent branding and use of common resources across all devices and applications is a top priority for broadcasters, especially in the editing suite,” said Peter Morrone, senior vice president of product engineering at Chyron. “Leveraging the same workflow tools and templates in both the news and edit workflows, MediaMaker is an efficient file-based rendering solution that increases collaboration, reduces training of editors and producers, and lowers the footprint required on edit stations.”

The MediaMaker system’s server/blade-based architecture is scalable to fit any size of operation and is designed to grow easily with the needs of the operation. As more users come online, MediaMaker blades can be added to improve cycle time to air.

Chyron will debut the all-new MediaMaker at the 2012 NAB Show at booth SL1510.
