Fox Sports West, MSG+ All Over the Ice with Stanley Cup Final Coverage

While NBC Sports Group may own exclusive rights to the actual Stanley Cup Final action on the ice, no networks know the New Jersey Devils and Los Angeles Kings better than their respective RSNs. With that in mind, MSG+ and Fox Sports West are delivering a full onslaught of live shoulder programming throughout the series that caters to both the hardcore fan and the bandwagoner who jumped on for the playoffs.

MSG+ Nears Finish Line After Busy Playoff Run
MSG+ will deliver a live Devils Postgame Show following every game of the series, with Games 1 and 2 produced out of the Geico MSG Studio Suite at Madison Square Garden and Game 3 forward live from the Prudential Center, whether the Devils are home or away.

“Nobody knows the Devils and their fans better than MSG Networks,” says Dan Ronayne, EVP/GM, MSG Networks. “And our postgame coverage of the Stanley Cup Finals on MSG+ will appeal to those who’ve followed the team all season long, as well new fans who are now enjoying the team’s success in the Playoffs.”

MSG Networks are now in the home stretch of what has been a very busy Stanley Cup Playoffs run. With both the Rangers and Devils advancing to the conference finals, both MSG and MSG+ have been chalked full of NHL content, including live game telecasts of both teams in the first-round and extended 90-minute postgame shows following Rangers-Devils Conference Finals games.

These efforts now continue wit the Devils Postgame Show throughout the finals, featuring the team’s play-by-play man Steve Cangialosi as host alongside analysts Chico Resch and Ken Daneyko. Reporter Deb Placey contributes interviews following Devils home games. Portions of the postgame show will be available online overnight following every game.

In addition, MSG+ has provided full coverage of both coach’s press conferences and on-site player interviews throughout the playoffs.

FS West Dishes Out King-Sized Coverage
Meanwhile, FS West will deliver Kings Live postgame coverage from an on-site set located inside the Staples Center for home games and inside the Prudential Center in New Jersey. Long-time game announcers, Jim Fox and Bob Miller provide analysis, while FS West/Kings reporter, Patrick O’Neal, is delivering interviews near the Kings hallway at both arenas

At the conclusion of the series, FS West will deliver a half-hour special documenting the Kings route to the Stanley Cup Final. And should the Kings win, FS West will deliver live parade and rally coverage.
