Grass Valley Showcases Portfolio at Broadcast Asia 2012

At Broadcast Asia 2012 in Singapore, June 19-22, 2012, Grass Valley will showcase its latest suite of solutions to empower media companies with the most advanced workflow operations and playout technologies on the market.

The solutions on display will illustrate how Grass Valley’s array of live, file-based production and content distribution products work together or separately to make users more efficient and significantly improve their productivity to satisfy any business model.

With the company theme of Where Content Begins, Grass Valley will bring visitors on a journey through their comprehensive portfolio spanning a wide range of sophisticated imaging, video and media solutions. Visitors to the booth can see exactly how the range of Grass Valley solutions could be incorporated into an end-to-end solution to help deliver value, flexibility, and the adaptability needed to meet the demands of today and tomorrow.

In addition, as they have in years past, Grass Valley executives will provide their insight into various aspects of the industry and the latest emerging technology. This year Graham Sharp, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Grass Valley, is participating in a panel discussion entitled “Leveraging Integrated Playout Technology to Increase Business Agility‚” scheduled for Wednesday, June 20 at 3 pm. Sharp will highlight the many ways for in which businesses can improve agility and minimize costs by leveraging on the latest integrated playout platforms, such as with Grass Valley’s K2 Edge integrated playout server.

At its booth, Grass Valley will present hands-on demonstrations of its full line of LDK 3000 and LDK 8300 Super SloMo camera systems, the Karrera Video Production Center switcher,  the Grass Valley STRATUS Media Workflow Application Framework platform, EDIUS 6.5 editing software, K2 Edge integrated playout server, K2 Summit 3G media server and K2 Dyno Replay System. All supporting multiple formats and file types for the ultimate in flexibility.

Grass Valley also announced the signing of three premium solution providers for the Indian market, SRSG (New Delhi), Cineom, (Mumbai), and Digital Solutions, (Chennai).
