Total Sports Entertainment Hires Erik Haag

Total Sports Entertainment (TSE), a sports services company, hired sports and entertainment executive Erik Haag.

Haag has more than 25 years of experience in the sports & entertainment industry.  He most recently served as the Executive Vice President/COO of Rex Encore Promotions & the Southern Illinois Miners.  During the course of his career, he has been responsible for the acquisition, strategic planning, construction and start-up operations of five minor league baseball franchises in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia including two banquet facilities and the special events division of the two minor league ownership groups.

Under Haag’s leadership, the Miners were named Frontier League Organization of the Year 3 times in 5 years while setting Frontier League Attendance records. Prior to joining the Miners, he spent 15 years working with Palisades Baseball, Ltd. serving as the organization’s executive vice president. In this role, Erik oversaw the management of Palisades Baseball’s four Minor League Baseball franchises; the Erie SeaWolves, the Mahoning Valley (Ohio) Scrappers, the South Bend Silver Hawks and the West Virginia Power as well as working with Palisades Baseball owner Alan Levin’s other business ventures. During his tenure, the Silver Hawks franchise was awarded the Midwest League’s Larry MacPhail Promotional Award. Haag spent two seasons in Erie, PA and the team set consecutive New York-Penn League attendance records. In Erie’s inaugural season, Erik was named the New York-Penn League Executive of the Year.
