Active Storage Adds Thomas Filioud as Regional Sales Manager in UK

Active Storage announced the hiring of Thomas Filioud as Regional Sales Manager for Europe. He will be based out of Active Storage’s office in the United Kingdom.

Filioud has a deep understanding and experience working within the media and entertainment customer base, having formerly worked for Attempo Software Solutions, where he was the country manager for the UK. Prior to that, Filioud was part of the solutions sales division at Dell.

“Thomas is a key addition to the Active Storage’s EMEA sales group,” said Paul Phillips, managing director, Active Storage. “As a French national, Thomas brings important language skills and a proven track record selling complex systems into the media and entertainment market. Thomas will spend a majority of his time in France and near-Europe, helping us expand our footprint in these territories.”

The success of the company’s mMedia Platform, and tremendous positive user feedback drove the need for increased personnel in Europe. Active Storage opened its UK office in 2009.

Active Storage will be showing its mMedia Platform and mStats SAN analysis software at IBC2012, September 7-11, 2012 in Amsterdam. They’ll be in stand 7.F05, hall 7.

Filioud begins with the company immediately.

Active Storage is headquartered in Torrance, CA. In addition to its UK office, the company also has offices in Northern California and Latin America.
