The Best On-Set Monitor? Philips Unveils 'Frameless' 3DTV

Forget the 3D part for now. While only currently available in Europe and Russia,  CNET.com  reports that Philips is pushing the envelope in slim aesthetics with its latest 6900-series 3D TVs, which sport an almost invisible 1.2mm-thin bezel. Made of brushed-anodized aluminum, this “zero-border” frame is further complemented by a equally unique “light and airy” stand.
