Adobe Collaborates with Gallery’s Sienna on Cross-Platform Plug-In

Gallery has collaborated with Adobe to fully integrate Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.0 software with Sienna, Gallery’s powerful broadcast workflow, and the ENPS Newsroom Computer System. This new integration includes a cross-platform plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 on Mac or PC, to bring the Sienna and ENPS functionality inside the Adobe Premiere Pro editing environment. This is the first time Gallery has added support for Windows craft edit clients on the Sienna network.

Sienna is a complete end-to-end digital media infrastructure for news and sports, with functionality and integration with third-party systems.  It is used by many of the world’s leading broadcasters, including the BBC and the Associated Press.

“Sienna is very well respected in the Macintosh domain” said Mark Gilbert, CTO, Gallery, “and now, for the first time, Windows edit clients can become full members of the Sienna media infrastructure. The tight integration with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.0 and AP/ENPS delivers an incredibly rich, seamless workflow for users.”

Adobe works with broadcast software and hardware companies to provide integrated workflows for broadcasters.

“Gallery has created something special with the tight Sienna integration inside Adobe Premiere Pro CS6,” said Simon Williams, Director Strategic Relations at Adobe. “The collaboration of Gallery, ENPS and Adobe offers broadcasters a serious cross platform solution for news and sports which will create a more productive and creative environment.”
