IMS Productions’ Robotic Camera System Has Successful Debut

IMS Productions deems its new robotic camera system highly successful after debuting it during the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series. Including its very own unique housing and mounting process, the system was placed in harm’s way while capturing IndyCar speeds over 220 mph in spaces not safely occupied by an operator.

The new system continues to show off why it will become the new industry standard by not only being capable but designed to operate on single strand fiber. A simple ST Fiber cable provides you with HD video, telemetry, four channels of audio and camera control. The behind-the-scenes technical partners include Talon, Panasonic, MultiDyne, and Canon among others.

“I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! IMSP really made a smart move. The cameras are easy to hook up and operate,” said Tom Gamble, senior video on IMS Productions’ IndyCar show. “The system works well for everyone involved from the operator to the engineer to production.”

Innovative and affordable, IMSP’s robotic camera system awaits your next challenge as its new opportunity. “We feel we truly have a system that meets the needs while exceeding the standards of any project that requires robotic equipment. It supplies us with a safe and credible quality product.” adds Kevin Sublette, vice president of Operations for IMS Productions.

From the Built Ford Tough Professional Bull Riders World Championships in Las Vegas to a football goal post or basketball rim near you, this system serves many robotics needs.
