Sony 4K TV to Come With Free 4K Movies

Swanni at TVpredictions.com reports that Sony revealed last night on a company blog that it will include free pre-loaded, native 4K entertainment on its new 84-inch 4K Ultra HD TV, which will be available shortly for roughly $25,000.

At the blog, Sony’s Ray Hartgen doesn’t specify what the 4K content will be, but it sounds like movies. Sony and a few other studios have filmed several movies in the 4K format, which purports to offer four times the resolution of current HDTVs.
