Production of NEO3DO Glasses-Free 3D Tablet Begins (video)

3Dfocus.co.uk reports that the developers of the Android- and parallax barrier-based NEO3DO 8” glasses-free 3D tablet have announced production will start this week, regardless of whether crowd-source funding is successful.

The news comes as the company’s two entrepreneurs, David Briggs and David ‘Nick’ Spriggs confirm a large pre-order after investing $100,000 of self-funded seed money into the project. The device was on show during the recent CES and the company claim strong support from stereoscopic industry players including Mike Egan CEO of Exceptional 3D, Tom Wilson CEO of emotion3D, Larry Wang Business Development of DDD.COM, Eva Szwichtenberg CEO Global Interactive Network, and Richard Smith of VEFXI.
