“We look forward to working with the Sports Video Group and all the many benefits that they have to offer,” comments Apantac President Thomas Tang.  “SVG provides us with the opportunities to work and network with our sports production industry colleagues.”

The Apantac product line includes multiviewers, video walls, extenders, switches, splitters, matrices, fiber optic extenders, HDBase-T solutions, RS232 converters and accessories and compact DA’s, converters, and embedders.  These products are sold globally through direct selling channels, a growing network of dealers, system integrators, OEM’s and various other partners.

At NAB, Apantac plans to debut an extender / receiver set for EVS’ XT3 video production server at booth N4613. According to the company, the new MT HOOD EVS XT extender/receiver set (models: EVS-1-E / EVS-1-R) is a convenient and cost-effective method to extend control of the EVS XT3 server.

Using the Apantac EVS-1-E/R extender / receiver set with a single CAT 5e/6 cable, the operator and the EVS XT or XS server range can be up to 600 feet away from each other.  A VGA console, PS2 keyboard, and up to two RS-422 controllers are all supported via the single CAT 5e/6x cable and a USB port is reserved for future interface support.

Founded in 2008, Apantac is a privately held company headquartered in Portland, OR.
