Alliance Productions Adds CBC Mobile Productions to Roster, Readies for 10th Annual NAB Party

Alliance Productions has announced that CBCMobile Productions, an independent division of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, has joined Alliance as a partner to provide mobile television facilities throughout North America. Mobile Productions offers four High Definition mobile units: Encore, Evolution, Infinity and Premiere.

“We welcome Mobile Productions, one of Canada’s most trusted facilities providers and their inclusion in the Alliance family. Mobile Productions will be a valuable addition to our HD lineup, allowing us to better serve clients, both in the US and Canada,” says Craig Farrell, Alliance Productions General Manager. “We’ve admired Alliance Productions over the years and feel we have the capacity and experience to be a valuable asset in their future growth,” said Dale Smith, Director, Mobile Productions.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the longest running broadcast network in Canada, has been an industry innovator for 75 years and involved in mobile television production for over 60 years. Among sports fans, CBC is best known for it’s weekly Saturday night broadcast of “Hockey Night in Canada.” Looking ahead, CBC has been selected as the host broadcaster for the next Pan/Parapan American Games, scheduled for July-August, 2015, in Toronto, Ontario.

CBC Mobile’s Infinity and SDTV HD ExpandoLink units will be among four HD mobile units on display at Alliance Productions’ 10th annual industry-wide reception during the 2013 NAB Show in Las Vegas. Alliance Productions partners and staff extend an invitation to the broadcast community to join them at Piero’s Italian Restaurant, 355 Convention Center Drive, on Monday, April 8th from 4 – 8 pm. On location and available for walk-thru tours in the Piero’s parking lot will be Crosscreek Television Productions Voyager 8 HD, MIRA Mobile Television M12-HD, CBC Mobile Productions Infinity and SDTV HD ExpandoLink.

Now in its tenth year, the Alliance Productions “Party at Piero’s” has become a popular destination to discuss all topics related to the mobile television industry. Last year, over 500 guests attended and enjoyed the festive atmosphere and lively dialogue.

Recognized as an industry leader in facilities and client satisfaction, Alliance works closely with broadcasters on a national, regional and local level to provide them with the appropriate level of service and support. Alliance Productions is the largest partnership of mobile truck providers in North America and with the addition of Mobile Productions, now includes eleven partner companies.
