MOEBAM! Helps Venues Create Big Moments for Fans

The Sports Video Group is pleased to welcome MOEBAM! Venue Media Services as a corporate sponsor. The company provides consultation and content for sports and entertainment venues and teams. The MOEBAM! philosophy is to serve team/venue clients exactly where they need, sharing their passion for creating “Big Awesome Moments!” for their fans. The goal is to guide, enable, and support team/venue operators with the right tools, training, and content strategy for their digital media vision.

With a passion for enhancing the fan experience through innovation, Rick Price founded MOEBAM! after a 20-year career leading the broadcast-production and technical-operations departments for the NBA’s Orlando Magic.

“I joined SVG because of how effectively they have connected, communicated, and enhanced the peer-to-peer networking of the sports-broadcast and video industry,” says Price. “They get all the right people together in the right places several times a year.”

He was a key member of the Amway Center development team that provided broadcast-AV design and operational consultation for all aspects of the venue AV, scoreboard-production, and IPTV/digital-signage systems. He created and led the Amway Center Broadcast Technology & Services department responsible for technical support of every event and operation of nearly $22 million in fan-engagement technology.

Recently, MOEBAM! consulted for the Magic on several operational and technology projects, including strategic vision and user-experience planning for a forthcoming Orlando Magic Mobile App. The company created an automated workflow that allowed the Magic to post game-action highlights to their Website during each quarter of the game and helped design and implement live-streaming infrastructure.

For the Orlando Solar Bears hockey team, MOEBAM! designed and specified a complete Mac-based Adobe edit system and implemented automated workflows that provide highlights of games to the local news stations immediately following each home game.

The company is currently creating a touch interactive IPTV solution specifically targeting the premium customer experience for sports venues.
