EVS Expands Senior Team with Three New Hires

EVS, a leading provider of live enriched video production systems, has appointed three new senior members of staff to further expand its global senior team. Henry Alexander has been appointed as senior vice president entertainment and news division. Stephane Jauroyou joins as EVS’ VP of sales for the Asia-Pacific region, excluding China, and Robin Adams comes on board as VP Channel for Europe Middle East and Africa.

Alexander joined EVS in 1997 as area sales manager for Benelux and now rejoins EVS as part of its executive committee. He’ll be in charge of product management and business development in EVS’ entertainment and news markets. During his previous stint at EVS he was responsible for the EMEA market and won major contracts with key European broadcasters including BBC, Channel1, BSkyB, Canal+ and TopVision. Over the last 3 years Henry Alexander has held the position of strategic broadcast consultant and head of operations and mobile production for the Belgian Public Broadcaster, RTBF.

Jauroyou, also a former EVS employee, will be responsible for reinforcing EVS’ sales operations in the Asia Pacific region. With over fifteen years experience in the media & entertainment industry, he’s held numerous senior positions at SeaChange (now XOR Media), playing an integral role in the company’s growth and transforming their operations across server based playout, digital archive and multiscreen delivery. He’ll be responsible for further establishing EVS’ presence in the APAC region.

Adams joined EVS in February as VP Channel for Europe Middle East and Africa. His role is to build and maintain strong relationships with key system integrators across EMEA with a focus on the TV Entertainment, News and Media market segments. He previously held positions at Avid, Autodesk, Softel and most recently, Quantel where he was director of sales for APAC.

“We’re always thrilled to see former employees choosing to come back to EVS and both Henry and Stephane bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience gained in their time away from the company,” said Joop Janssen, CEO of EVS. “We’re also happy to bring fresh blood to the company, particularly with Robin’s wide experience.”
