SVG’s Women’s Sports Media Initiative To Host Atlanta Networking Event

SVG’s Women’s Sports Media Initiative (WSMI) will host a networking event at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on Wednesday, May 29, at 11 am.  The keynote speaker for the event will be Elizabeth Conlisk from the Big Ten Network.  Elizabeth is the Vice President of Communications for BTN, where she develops and leads strategic communications for BTN while managing relationships between the network and the 12 Big Ten universities.

WSMI is a networking group that aims to enhance the role of women in the creation, production, and distribution of sports content. WSMI members work for sports leagues, teams, television networks, technology companies, and start-ups where their focus is the business and technology behind sports production. All are invited to stop by to listen, learn, exchange ideas and best practices, and meet other women in the industry. Light refreshments will be served. The WSMI networking event will precede SVG’s College Sports Summit, which begins at 12:15 pm.
