GrassTelemundo – Expo Cine Video Television Show 2013 is being held at the World Trade Center de la Ciudad de México from June 4-7.

“The broadcast and media markets in Mexico continue to grow, and Telemundo Expo gives us the chance to connect with our customers in a very hands-on and personal way,” said Rafael Castillo, Senior Vice President, Latin America, at Grass Valley. “The demonstrations at our booth will reflect the highly adaptable and flexible live production solutions we deliver to meet the needs and cost requirements of broadcasters across Mexico.”

Grass Valley will demonstrate the complete LDX Series—LDX Flex, LDX Première, LDX Elite, and LDX WorldCam—offering unmatched picture quality and operational flexibility by allowing users to enhance camera functionality as needed using a 7-day term or perpetual basis GV-eLicense. With the ability to limit upfront capital expenditures, this game-changing camera range allows broadcasters to shift future production requirements to their operational budget as needed. The LDX Series delivers unparalleled performance with 1080p50/60 acquisition that is two F-stops higher than any competing model, while maintaining full compatibility with Grass Valley’s line of 3G Transmission solutions.

Also on display will be the LDK 8300 Live Super SloMo camera which switches seamlessly between 1X, 2X, and 3X speeds as well as between 1080i and 720p formats. Whether using 2X or 3X slow-motion, the LDK 8300 always outputs a broadcast-quality single-speed feed.

Grass Valley will also show its K2 Dyno Replay System, based on the newly designed, powerful, and easy to learn K2 Dyno S Replay Controller, with a simple to use touchscreen interface and common tools for clip, playlist, and highlight reel creation while utilizing integrated metadata tagging.

GV Stratus nonlinear media production tools will show how nonlinear media production and content management processes can increase efficiency in almost any operation. Visitors to Grass Valley’s booth will also find the lightweight and upgradable Karrera production switcher, which includes an easy-to-learn control panel as well as a touchscreen side panel interface so that new operators are up and running quickly.
