Elemental Demoing Advanced Video Processing at The Cable Show

Elemental Technologies, a leading supplier of video solutions for multiscreen content delivery, is demonstrating its advanced video processing solutions at the Cable Show conference and exhibition June 10-12 in Washington D.C. Solutions from Elemental are widely adopted across the media industry and help pay TV operators effectively deliver high-quality linear and on demand multiscreen video to end users on any device.

Elemental is demonstrating its video processing capabilities in the CableNET Pavilion at this year’s Cable Show. The company will highlight real-time High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) H.265 at 3 Mbps for 1920x1080p high-definition (HD) display. In addition to live and file-to-file encoding with Apple HLS, Adobe HDS and MPEG-DASH outputs for multiscreen devices, Elemental also will demonstrate its low- bitrate MPEG-2 encoding capabilities vital for helping cable operators reclaim bandwidth.

Finally, Elemental is demonstrating a Pay TV Lite application that allows pay TV operators to expand coverage and offer subscribers a live, local, broadcast channel lineup along with on-demand content using a Roku streaming player.

“We are excited to demonstrate solutions that help pay TV operators more quickly and efficiently develop and roll out new services,” said Keith Wymbs, VP of marketing for Elemental. “At The Cable Show 2013, Elemental will highlight how we help media companies provide affordable, premium-quality, precisely targeted video services across multiple screens.”
