Comcast SportsNet Northwest Names Larry Eldridge Vice President, General Manager

Comcast SportsNet Northwest and the NBC Sports Group announced the appointment of Larry Eldridge as Vice President and General Manager for the 24-hour regional sports network. The announcement was made by Jon Litner, Group President of the NBC Sports Group.
Eldridge brings a strong record of experience to his new role, having served as GM of Comcast SportsNet California and Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh over the last 12 years. Throughout his most recent tenure at Comcast SportsNet California, Eldridge directly managed the network’s partnerships and live coverage of the Sacramento Kings, Oakland Athletics, Oakland Raiders, San Jose Sharks and San Jose Earthquakes. At Comcast SportsNet Northwest, he will oversee all aspects of the network’s operations, including live event coverage, regional news and analysis, original programming, finance, marketing and communications.

Prior to joining Comcast SportsNet, Eldridge was General Manager of Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh, where he also held senior roles in Marketing and Communications. Before turning his focus towards regional sports networks, he spent 10 years as Assistant Athletic Director/Public Relations & Marketing at the University of Pittsburgh, and directed the Sports Information operations at Yale University and La Salle University. He also worked as a Publicist for ABC Sports and in the Creative Services division for National Football League Properties. Eldridge earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University in 1975.
