AirWatch Empowers Companies to Focus on Mobile-Device Innovation

The Sports Video Group is pleased to welcome AirWatch as a premier sponsor.  A mobile security and enterprise mobility management provider, AirWatch employs 1,300 global associates and manages mobility for 7,000 global customers. The company, based in Atlanta, simplifies the deployment of mobile phones, tablets, and ultrabooks through remote configuration and management, combined with security technology.

“AirWatch realizes the importance and value of membership in the Sports Video Group (SVG) as equally as SVG recognizes the significance of mobile security for proprietary content. AirWatch is proud to be a new member of SVG and knows that SVG members represent the brightest and most creative minds in the sports film industry,” says Victor Cooper, Global Public Relations, AirWatch. “By joining SVG, we look forward to sharing mobile technology best practices with the members and enjoying the supplementary benefits of membership that allow access to SVG’s premiere events and presentations.”

The AirWatch platform, featuring mobile device management and application management, also incorporates the secure content management solution, Secure Content Locker.  These solutions can be used stand-alone for unique Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) requirements or as a comprehensive, highly scalable enterprise-grade mobility platform.

Recently, the National Rugby League (NRL) chose AirWatch to manage its deployment of corporate-owned devices and its BYOD program. After enrolling more than 400 corporate-owned smartphone and tablet devices, NRL now offers a BYOD program that supports iOS and Android devices to its staff of 900.

AirWatch also allows NRL to benefit from the Apple Volume Purchase Program, which will prevent end-users from needing to submit expense reports for NRL applications.
