New Broadcast Center Fuels ONE World Sports Major Network Relaunch

ONE World Sports has opened the ONE World Sports Broadcast Center, a state-of-the-art high definition production facility in Stamford, CT as part of a comprehensive re-launch of the global sports network on August 3.

The national sports network also will introduce a global sports ticker, and debut its bold on-air branding and graphics at the same time.

one_world_sportsONE World Sports will utilize Encompass’ Stamford and Singapore facilities. The ONE World Sports Broadcast Center will be located in Stamford where Encompass will provide full-time master control, uplink, satellite space segment, production and post-production. The network’s production, operations and promotion staff will also have offices at the ONE World Sports Broadcast Center. Encompass Singapore will provide content acquisition services delivered to Stamford via fiber connectivity.

In addition to ONE World Sports, Encompass provides content management and distribution for premier sports leagues and broadcasters including ASN, CBS Sports Network, NFL Network, Outside TV, ROOT Sports, TVG, Sportsman Channel and YES Network and serves as the master-control center for approximately 800 other local, regional and global cable networks.
