Taiwan’s United Daily News Invests in Ross Video Technology

United Daily News (UDN) in Taiwan invested in Ross Video technology for their new cable channel UDN.TV. Launching the channel August 1, UDN held an event in SongShan Cultural Park with 400 guests including the Mayor and Vice Mayor of Taipei, distinguished guests and Taiwan media.

A key highlight of UDN’s launch event was Ross’ Augmented Reality solution – an integration of Ross’ Carbonite Production Switcher, Furio Robotics Camera System and XPression Graphics Systems, paired together with Unreel’s AR Control System.

“We’re delighted in our collaboration with Ross Video and Unreel for this live AR demonstration. It has solidly confirmed the stability and efficiency of Ross Video’s products,” says Eric Fong, Chief Operating Officer, UDN TV.

“The team at UDN had a vision, and they wanted to create something unique for their launch event,” says Andrew Tan, Director of Sales – Asia Pacific, Ross Video. “With Ross’ integrated solution, UDN was able to achieve exactly what they wanted – easily and without any hassle. The result was spectacular!”

“Ross Video provided full support from the preparation stage right thru to the on-site operation,” continues Fong. “We’ve once again successfully joined forces for the creation of a remarkable live opening event. Most importantly, we received favorable feedback after the event and we are very pleased.”
