ONE CONNXT Delivers Contribution Transport for Japanese League Broadcasts
ONE CONNXT is providing contribution transport for 124 J2 League broadcasts for worldwide distribution this season. Providing services to J2 continues ONE CONNXT’s successful transport of several major live sporting events which include the French Open, Asian pro soccer, Emirates Australian Open, baseball’s Yomiuri Giants and the Jakarta Indonesia Open golf tournament.
“High quality consumer video experience begins with the best HD/SD video transport and service….and that is what ONE CONNXT offers J2 and all of our clients. We are proud of our role in delivering the J2 League to its fans,” says Dave Almstead, CEO of ONE Media Corp, the parent company of ONE CONNXT.
The J. League Division 2 (or J2 League) is the second division of Japan Professional Football and has existed in Japan since 1972. The league took one relegating club from the top division and nine clubs from the second-tier semi-professional former Japan Football League to create the J2 League and has been professionalized since 1999.
According to Paul Dingwitz, CTO of ONE Media Corp, “ONE CONNXT’s superior broadcast standards are terrific for live, high-motion sports coverage, and our low cost transport and 24×7 customer service is perfect for our clients.”
ONE CONNXT was created by broadcasters for broadcasters. Unlike most other systems, ONE CONNXT was designed to meet or exceed broadcast standards and offers quality and reliability comparable to traditional broadcast for a much lower cost.
