Rush Soundtrack Features DTS Headphone:X Audio Mix

DTS, Inc., a leader in high-definition audio solutions, has announced that the Rush: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, features a DTS Headphone:X audio mix, allowing listeners to hear the score precisely as composer Hans Zimmer intended it to sound. Fans of the movie will have the opportunity to download all tracks in DTS Headphone:X via Zimmer’s Z+ Rush app.

DTS Headphone:X is an advanced new technology that gives listeners the perception the sound is coming from high-quality loudspeakers located some distance around them on any pair of traditional headphones. With the technology, content producers can capture the acoustics of a high-quality audio production studio for faithful reproduction on consumer-end products.

In addition, DTS announced that the new Dave Stewart music video, “Every Single Night”– the first single from his upcoming new album Lucky Numbers — is the first shot in 4K and mixed in 11.1 surround sound.  Upon availability later this month, users will be able to download a free app featuring the “Every Single Night” music video and experience it in immersive 11.1 surround sound via DTS Headphone:X.
