Time Warner Cable Sports, Aston Villa FC Sign Programming Agreement

Aston Villa Football Club and Time Warner Cable Sports are delighted to announce an agreement which will see the club’s international television programme, “Aston Villa Weekly,” screened on two regional sports networks in the Southern California area, USA, Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes, making them the only current American outlet for Aston Villa programming.

The two-year agreement will see “Aston Villa Weekly” broadcast to millions of homes in America each week on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Spanish-language sister network Time Warner Cable Deportes. The deal with Aston Villa will enable US sports fans to keep in touch with the fortunes of one of the most successful clubs in the history of English football.

“Aston Villa Weekly” is a three-hour programme focusing on all of Villa’s Barclays Premier League games. The weekly show features Villa’s most recent Barclays Premier League game in full, as well as interviews, news and behind-the-scenes features from the club’s Villa Park stadium and Bodymoor Heath training headquarters.

“Aston Villa Weekly” will air for the first time on Time Warner Cable SportsNet today, Tuesday, October 22. This week’s schedule for the show on both networks is as follows (all times Pacific):
