Evertz, Game Creek Team Up for World Series on Fox

At the 2013 MLB World Series on FOX, Game Creek Video deployed Evertz routing and infrastructure solutions in mobile trucks that were used to successfully broadcast the Series to approximately 19.2 million viewers.

“As always, Evertz has provided rock solid routing, modular and control solutions in our ‘Dynasty’ trucks which enabled us to broadcast the World Series with no muss and no fuss,” says Jason Taubman, VP of Design & New Technology, Game Creek Video. “Evertz EQX, EMR and MAGNUM control system are the most powerful tools in the truck and we rely heavily on them for successful broadcasts. With Evertz routing and control system at the core of the unit, the operation of the truck is the last thing on our client’s minds; we are always confident that Evertz solutions will deliver.”

Game Creek Video used their Evertz equipped ‘Dynasty’ truck fleet to broadcast the World Series. The Dynasty Fleet is fully outfitted with Evertz routing, control, and modular solutions, including Evertz 576×1152 EQX High Density Core Video Router, Evertz EMR 4096×4096 Audio Router, Evertz MAGNUM unified control system, and a wide array of Evertz modular gear which is monitored using Evertz VistaLINK SNMP monitoring system. In addition, Evertz 3405 product line provided fiber optic CWDM interconnect between the two trucks.

“Evertz has a long standing relationship with Game Creek Video and we are happy to collaborate with them on a host of projects,” says Joe Cirincione, VP Sales, US Sports and Entertainment. “We are fortunate to have Game Creek as our partner who not only works with us to develop great trucks but they provide us with feedback to improve our products in order to better serve our customers. We are very excited to have supplied Game Creek Video with not only routing but the complete solution to successfully broadcast the 2013 World Series.”
