Raycom Sports Receives 11 Midsouth Regional Emmy Nominations

Raycom Sports was nominated for 11 Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards. Winners will be announced on January 24, 2014 in Nashville.

Raycom_Sports_logoThe summer weekly series “Havoline Football Saturdays” was nominated for the fifth time in six years in the Sports Program/Series category. It has won four Emmy Awards. Also in the Sports Program/Series category, “Kings of the Court” received its second straight Emmy nomination.

“ACC Road Trip” was nominated for the fifth straight year in the category Magazine Program. It has been awarded three Emmys. In addition, Raycom was nominated three times for Sports Segment and once each in the categories of Editor/Program, Editor/Short Form, Director/Short Form, Writer/Short Form, and Sports Event/Game.

Producer Jeremy Williams and Associate Producer Maxwell Brooke each received five nominations, Executive Producer Rob Reichley, Producer Alex Farmartino and Associate Producer Richard Brooke received four nominations, Producer David Barringer and Associate Producer Chris Duzan received three nominations, and Director Roy Alfers, hosts Tommy Kane and Cory Alexander, and Rodney Rogers received one nomination.
