Apantac Highlights Multiviewers, HDMI HDBT Extenders at GovComm 2013

Apantac, provider of multiviewers, video walls, extenders, and signal processing solutions, demonstrate dseveral products at the GovComm 2013 this week, a Washington DC event for AV Managers, IT professionals, and engineers that produce AV communications for federal, state and local governments.


Universal Series of Multiviewers: Combine Universal Inputs on a Single Display
Apantac demonstrated its popular TAHOMA DE “Universal” series of Multiviewers. The TAHOMA DE Universal Multiviewers accept 4, 8, 12 or 16 HDMI, DVI, VGA, YPbPr, YC , Composite as well as 4K/3G/HD/SD-SDI sources for multi-image display. All TAHOMA-DE models support DVI/HDMI/VGA outputs at resolutions up to 2048×1080 (50 / 60 Hz), including support for 1080p. They also support an optional HD / SD-SDI output. The TAHOMA-DE Multiviewers include an integrated CATx extender for extending sources up to 115 feet.

This series also includes the Mini Universal Multiviewer, an extremely cost-effective and compact multimedia multiviewer for monitoring four universal computer (DVI, HDMI, VGA, YPbPr, Composite) inputs.

MicroQ Compact Quad-Splits:
The MicroQ series quad-split multiviewers are available in a standard version and a simplified version. Both support 4K/3G/HD/SD-SDI/Composite inputs and offer HDMI and SDI outputs.

HDBaseT HDMI Extenders/Receivers:
The MT HOOD line of signal processing solutions includes a line of HDBaseT HDMI Extenders/Receivers for extending HDMI signals up to 330 feet. These units use HDBaseT technology for transmission of uncompressed video audio, and control signals. Depending on the model, power and control options include; Ethernet control, Power Over Ethernet, InfraRed, RS232, and GPI control.
