wTVision Handles Real-Time Graphics for India State Elections

wTVision has covered the real-time graphics of the state elections in India, for two TV Channels: DD News and IBC24. The software platform used was Elections CG, a highly customizable solution that handles all the prime functions required for a special electoral TV program: Data Management and Graphics Playout, in real-time.

For both projects, wTVision provided end-to-end graphics services that included the graphics design, the project implementation, and the operational service. wTVision’s creative team developed and implemented the graphics presented on both coverages, using a partner’s graphic platform.

DD News presented their viewers a special election program using a broad range of full screen graphics, tickers and improved its broadcast with a touch screen solution that allowed the presenter to select and launch the on-air graphics. The broadcast also included a ticker with the live results, in english and Hindi.

At the end of the election day, Divyajot Ahluwalia, wTVision’s Indian Division Country Manager commented, “We are happy to work with DD News for the second time on an election project! Everything went really good, from data management to the screen graphics presentation, in two languages. Regarding IBC24, this was the first time we worked with this TV Channel, making the whole coverage in Hindi.”
