ONE CONNXT Delivers for NY Cosmos in Dubai

ONE CONNXT, a division of ONE Media Corp, will provide video-transport services for defending NASL champion New York Cosmos’ preseason training trip in Dubai. The Cosmos have headed to the United Arab Emirates for preseason training, including a series of training matches against three UAE Arabian Gulf League teams. The team will be based in Dubai at the UAE Football Association’s brand-new training complex.

The Cosmos chose ONE CONNXT’s transport solution to send video back to the U.S. “Our fans can’t wait for the season to start, and they want to watch the New York Cosmos play as soon as possible,” says Cosmos CEO Erik Stover. “We are extremely excited about the quality, speed, and cost of ONE CONNXT’s video transport.”

ONE CONNXT will be exhibiting at CABSAT, the Middle East and Africa’s largest broadcast and satellite technical event, in Dubai. Demos will show broadcasters how to deliver content via a custom Web-scheduling portal. Cloud services provide broadcasters with a video-storage system that allows regional time-shifting with self-managed, any-time playback capability. ONE CONNXT technology is an improvement over traditional transport methods for parts of the world, such as the Middle East, where infrastructure may be challenging.
