Atlantic Sun Conference Seeks Director of Multi-Media Services

The Atlantic Sun Conference is accepting applications for the position of Director of Multi-Media
Services / Executive Producer. The position will oversee the conference’s league-wide digital network and ESPN3 initiatives and should be an experienced sports video production professional.

Areas of Responsibility
1. Serve as Executive Producer for A-Sun’s on-campus ESPN3 initiative
a. Provide consistent commercial and in-game formatting
b. Document best practices
c. Develop post-game highlight creation plan
d. Evaluate and build continuing improvement plan for campus productions and talent performance
e. Create intra-office video sharing program
2. Act as liaison between on-campus production teams and ESPN production/technical contacts
3. Develop and foster relationships with athletic communications and video production staffs at the
conference’s member institutions, as well as with video content distribution rights holders
4. Provide ongoing training support to institutions for live productions
5. Maintain recommended equipment list and vendor options
6. Oversee all live championship contest productions
7. Create original video content (e.g., press conferences, highlights, all-conference teams,
halftime/intermission packages)
8. Travel to and provide on-site support for select A-Sun championships
9. Other duties as assigned by the commissioner

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Video editing experience required
3. Live game production experience required
4. Experience with Ross video production equipment and ESPN live event productions preferred
5. Experience in social media communication and desktop publishing a plus
6. Strong writing and computer skills
7. Ability to work independently and efficiently on a variety of time-sensitive projects; weekend hours
and evening work will be a component of the position
