Deadline for SVG SportsTech Journal White Papers Extended to July 14

The Sports Video Group is soliciting White Paper proposals for inclusion in the fall edition of the SVG SportsTech Journal, which will be released the in late October. The deadline for submissions has been extended to Monday, July 14. Interested parties must submit a 200- to 300-word overview of the proposed White Paper in order to be considered for submission. The final White Paper should be 1,300-2,000 words in length and is now due by Friday, Aug. 8.

The annual SportsTech Journal will address the latest trends and technologies from across the sports-video–production landscape, as well as provide in-depth looks at FIFA World Cup production, reports from recent SVG events, and updates on SVG sponsors’ latest news.

White papers must be written by a technology or engineering expert and focus on broad industry challenges and possible solutions. Proposals that focus on a specific product are discouraged.
