Goal.com to Power Match Day Live In EA SPORTS FIFA 15

EA SPORTS has selected Goal.com to power Match Day Live within FIFA 15, the upcoming release of the best-selling soccer video game franchise on Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Match Day Live is an all-new immersive feature in EA SPORTS FIFA 15 that gives fans a window into the real soccer world by showcasing live news stories, powered by Goal.com content.

This is the first time that live soccer articles has been featured in the FIFA franchise. Goal.com, one of the world’s largest digital soccer brands owned by PERFORM and operated in the US by Sporting News Media, will provide real-time news in 11 languages and covering 20 different leagues, including Barclays Premier League, Spanish Primera Division, Serie A in Italy, German Bundesliga, and Eredivisie in Netherlands.

In EA SPORTS Football Club, fans select their favorite team which determines the dynamic content shown in their Match Day Live hub, ensuring fans receive relevant news, stats, and league information. Match Day Live will be featured in an all-new hub accessible from the home menu of FIFA 15, and the news articles featured will be pulled directly from Goal.com’s live content.

Goal is the world’s largest digital soccer brand, with 35 editions and over 500 journalists worldwide, attracting over 66.2 million unique users and generating more than 1.2 billion page views per month (July 2014).
