Pittsburgh International Telecommunications recently installed bi-directional uncompressed HD-SDI connectivity to The Switch – Pittsburgh, while Spectrum Films in Jacksonville recently added a 1.485 Gbps uncompressed HD-SDI Connection to The Switch – Jacksonville.
Pittsburgh International TelecommunicationsThis new circuitry provides connectivity to both the Pittsburgh Videotech Center and the Pittsburgh International Teleport.
The Pittsburgh Videotech Center is Pittsburgh’s premier production facility featuring two fully equipped Multi-Camera Studios, an Audio Recording Studio, Control Room, Playout and Pre and Post Production services. Make Up, Green Room, Craft Services and Field Crews are also available. The Pittsburgh Videotech Center is conveniently located in the Gateway Towers at 320 Duquesne Boulevard, just minutes from downtown, PNC Park, Heinz Field, the Consol Energy Center, Heinz Hall and the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
The Pittsburgh International Teleport is a full service teleport offering Occasional Use and Full-Time transmission of Standard and High Definition Video, as well as DTH and VSAT services. In addition to its fixed teleport offerings, PIT also operates a KU Band uplink truck to support your remote transmission needs.
Spectrum Films
Spectrum Films is a full service production company that has been offering live shots, as well as play outs and post production for 15 years. For on location shots, Spectrum offers a full crew ready to travel and shoot your next production. In addition to Spectrum’s full HD studio, they boast full editing facilities with 3 AVID Media Composer suites and an Final Cut Pro suite. If audio is your only need, Spectrum has a large voice over booth with phone patch available.
