FOX Sports’ College Basketball Schedule Includes More Than 200 Games

FOX Sports is home to more than 200 men’s and women’s college basketball games this season featuring the BIG EAST, Pac-12, Conference USA, and Big 12. FOX Sports also presents coverage of three prestigious regular-season tournaments, the entire BIG EAST men’s tournament, the Conference USA men’s championship game, the BIG EAST women’s tournament semifinals and final, and the full Big 12 women’s tournament.

This season, a minimum of 10 games are scheduled to air on the FOX broadcast network – more than ever before – while FOX Sports 1, America’s new sports network, carries more than 150 men’s and women’s contests, including the entire BIG EAST men’s tournament live from Madison Square Garden in New York. The event is played at the “World’s Most Famous Arena” for the 33rd consecutive year, marking college basketball’s longest running postseason basketball conference tournament held at the same venue. FOX Sports 1 also televises the Conference USA men’s championship game, the BIG EAST women’s tournament final and one semifinal, plus the semifinals and final of the Big 12 women’s tournament.

BIG EAST conference play opens on New Year’s Eve with a five-game, 12-hour marathon on FOX Sports 1. All 10 conference teams are in action from Noon ET until the ball drops at Midnight to ring in 2015. This season also features a BIG EAST Tuesday Showdown package – a 15-game schedule that includes a doubleheader most weeks. Each conference squad appears at least twice beginning Tuesday, Jan. 6, as Georgetown hosts Marquette (7:00 PM ET) and Villanova visits St. John’s (9:00 PM ET).

FOX Sports’ college basketball coverage begins Tuesday, Nov. 4, with an exhibition contest between Northwood and Villanova on FOX Sports 1 (7:00 PM ET). FOX Sports 1 opens its regular-season schedule on Sunday, Nov. 16, as Creighton hosts Chicago State (5:30 PM ET), followed by doubleheaders on back-to-back nights, with Villanova hosting Maryland Eastern Shore (7:00 PM ET) and Providence welcoming Binghamton (9:00 PM ET) on Monday, Nov. 17, and Xavier facing Long Beach State (7:00 PM ET) and DePaul playing Drake (9:00 PM ET) on Tuesday, Nov. 18. On Saturday, Dec. 6, FOX presents a special basketball-football doubleheader from Indianapolis, as Butler hosts Northwestern at Hinkle Fieldhouse (4:30 PM ET) in the broadcast network’s first hoops game of the season. That evening, coverage moves downtown to Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium for the Big Ten Football Championship Game with coverage beginning at 7:00 PM ET on FOX.

FOX Sports 1 adds coverage of three regular-season tournaments to its schedule, tipping off with the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational on Thanksgiving, with Illinois at Indiana State at 5:00 PM ET on Thursday, Nov. 27. Later that night, Baylor faces Memphis at 12:00 AM ET. FOX Sports 1 also carries the tournament’s consolation and championship the following evening. FOX Sports 1 televises a pair of matchups from the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic on Tuesday, Dec. 23, and one game from the Orange Bowl Classic – Wake Forest vs. Florida – on Saturday, Dec. 20 (5:00 PM ET).

The duo of play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson and analyst Bill Raftery return to serve as FOX Sports’ lead college basketball broadcast tandem. Raftery gets fans ready for the season with BILL RAFTERY’S BIG EAST PREVIEW, a one-hour special premiering Sunday, Nov. 2 on FOX Sports 1 that goes in depth on each of the conference’s programs. The FOX COLLEGE BASKETBALL TIP-OFF pregame show typically airs before games on the broadcast network, and FOX SPORTS 1 COLLEGE BASKETBALL TIP-OFF comes on before select weekend contests on FOX Sports 1.

College basketball games on FOX, FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2, FOX Sports Regional Networks and FOX College Sports also can be seen on FOX Sports GO, the app that provides live video of FOX Sports content at home or on the go.
