SVG’s TranSPORT To Focus on HEVC, 4K, and IP Workflows

SVG’s annual TranSPORT, Nov. 11 in NYC, event is just two weeks away and the program promises to inform attendees about the current state of contribution, backhaul, and distribution, but also the technologies that are quickly transforming the industry. Chaired by ESPN’s Principal Engineer of Transport Technology and Special Projects Emory Strilkauskas, TranSPORT arrives at the Doubletree Suites at Times Square in New York City on Nov. 11.

TranSPORT will once again bring together top transmission-focused executives and leaders from sports networks/broadcasters, streaming outlets, and technology/service providers to discuss today’s industry landscape and next-gen technologies like HEVC, 4K, cellular-based transmission, OTT delivery, and IP workflows. This year’s slate of speakers has been finalized and will include great minds from broadcasters and leagues like CBS, DirecTV, ESPN, Fox, the American Athletic Conference (AAC), and the NHL, as well as a host of leading tech vendors and service providers.
