Advanced solutions for multiplatform content distribution, remote production, and managing new formats and metadata for file-based workflows will be demonstrated at the EVS booth during Content and Communications World, November 12-13, 2014.

On November 13, EVS’ James Stellpflug, VP of Sports, will participate in a panel discussing the revolutionary cloud-based content delivery workflow created for the 2014 World Cup, which enabled viewers to consume live HD content in ways they never have before.

EVS Products Being Showcased at CCW 2014
Used for the 2014 World Cup, the EVS C-Cast Multimedia Distribution platform takes all of the recorded content from EVS servers and helps turn that content into a customized multi-screen experience — at top speed during live productions.  C-Cast integrates with any mobile application to provide a complete package fans can use to access multi-angles, stats and data, as well as engage with targeted promotions, advertising, social media and more —  all as the event unfolds.

XT3 is the industry standard media server that provides built-in proxies, mix on one channel, live multi-angle review, industry-first 12 live recording channel support, and comes with an extra two HD/SD video channels, allowing two operators to work on the same machine.  The XT3 4K is a simple upgrade and comes with Epsio Zoom for 4K zooming.

XS is EVS’ next generation live ingest, playout and production server that delivers the fastest access and distribution of multi-camera recorded content. XS NewsFlash is the powerful ‘news in-a-box’ solution from EVS for small newsrooms and production suites.  Use it as a scalable, end-to-end news production system or as a 100% reliable disaster recovery solution – it comes ready to plug and play.

IPDirector Live Production Asset Management (Live PAM) provides control of ingest feeds, content management and third-party exchange.  It extends broadcast centers’ offering with new remote production capabilities with C-Cast Xplore web-interface enabling instant access to the recording train of the XT3 live production servers for browsing, clipping and import of relevant content.

EVS OpenCube file-based ingest server and MXF file interoperability solutions offer the most comprehensive toolset for managing the media content lifecycle. The EVS OpenCube  HD/SD solution for ingest, mastering and archive content management easily supports all industry MXF standards (including AS-02, AS-03 and AS-11, IMF, IMF App2) for production, post production and archive workflows.  It also takes the guesswork out of managing closed caption and subtitles.
