Cobalt Digital Appoints Bob McAlpine to Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Cobalt Digital, a manufacturer of 3G/HD/SD-SDI conversion gear, has appointed Bob McAlpine to EVP of Sales & Marketing.  Gene Zimmerman, president of Cobalt Digital, announced McAlpine’s appointment today from headquarters in Urbana, IL.

McAlpine will oversee global sales for Cobalt in addition to guiding marketing communications for its expanding product portfolio.  McAlpine previously served as the SVP of Sales, NA at Cobalt for the past three and half years developing a strong sales team, and directing its resources for sustained growth.     

McAlpine’s professional broadcast background covers a period of over 40 years with an accomplished record of achievement and demonstrated success for structured sales growth, market penetration for multiple product lines, and management of winning sales teams.
