AJT Systems Adapts Scorebug System to Integrate with NewTek TriCaster

AJT Systems has been providing top of the line hardware and software solutions to the broadcast industry for over 15 years. Their latest product, the LiveBook GFX Scorebug System, is their first direct-to-end user product enabling sports broadcasters to display a high-end, full-motion Scorebug suitable for any scale of production, from national networks to regional/local networks and colleges. Now, AJT Systems will deliver a unique solution for the sports broadcast industry – an easy-to-use, high-end, affordable Scorebug solution for TriCaster multi-camera video production systems from NewTek.

“In working with our clients we saw there was a need for a high end, easy to use, fully customizable, compact scorebug system that was also affordable,” said Ron Linares, President of AJT Systems. “We addressed this need by creating the first scorebug system available in a lap top form factor, our LiveBook GFX. This scorebug system integrates with the NewTek TriCaster so beautifully, a true integration was inevitable.”

AJT Systems worked with NewTek’s SDK to develop their Video IP feature, allowing TriCaster users to broadcast using the high-end graphics rendered by the LiveBook GFX without sacrificing any valuable camera inputs.

“It is tremendous to include AJT Systems as one of the newest members of the NewTek Developer Network. The new LiveBook GFX integration provides portable HD scorebug ‘full animation’ graphics for TriCaster operators without having to sacrifice any camera input,” said Michael Kornet, executive vice president of Business Development for NewTek. “This valuable workflow allows our sports customers to produce their games utilizing the full power of TriCaster with added high quality scorebug graphics from LiveBook GFX™ both affordably and easily.”

With Video IP capabilities, an unparalleled stats interface, high end professional graphics, and portable form factor the LiveBook GFX pairs with TriCaster to reduce the cost of sports production while maintaining high end production values.
