Jim Panousis Named Head of Soccer Content at TSN
Jim Panousis has been appointed as Head of Soccer Content at TSN. In this newly created position, Panousis will take over day-to-day management of TSN’s comprehensive slate of soccer content, including the highly-anticipated FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015.
The appointment, which was announced by Mark Milliere, Senior Vice-President of Production at TSN, comes on the heels of TSN’s announcement last month that the network has acquired Canadian media rights for UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE matches.
Panousis will oversee TSN’s all-star team of soccer analysts that includes Luke Wileman, Jason deVos, and Kristian Jack.
Overall, TSN’s slate of soccer programming features hundreds of live international and domestic matches each year airing across multiple platforms, and includes the following marquee events:
- FIFA World Cup, beginning with the FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015™, and including the 2018 FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA™, and 2022 FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR™
- UEFA EURO 2016
- 190+ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE matches
- 190+ BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE matches
- MLS – official broadcaster of MLS in Canada including playoffs and MLS Cup

- Toronto FC – 23+ matches each season
Panousis has held a variety of production roles during his 25+ year tenure at TSN, producing numerous international and domestic events including FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro tournaments, as well as Olympic Games and Canada Games. He has also served as the main production lead representing TSN’s long-term partnership with Special Olympics Canada.
