Fox Sports LATAM Deploys wTVision for South American Championship Trifecta

Fox Sports LATAM has chosen wTVision’s FootballStats CG – Single Operation Edition to cover three big championships in South America: Copa Libertadores, Copa Concacaf, and Copa Total Sudamericana.

Copa Libertadores is the most important competition in South America and was broadcast between January and August in México, Argentina and Brazil. Copa Concacaf took place in México between February and August, in December, wTVision’s software ended this hat-trick at South America with Copa Total Sudamericana, a competition with a total of 34 participants from countries affiliated to CONMEBOL, broadcast in Argentina and Brazil by FoxSports.

FootballStats CG – Single Operation Edition allows a single operator to control both the data scouting as well as the real-time on-air graphics. This smart system suggests the on air-graphic that goes with the statistics collected so that the operator doesn’t have to be doing the two operations simultaneously. Also, the internal logic engine for graphics transition allows the operator to just keep launching the graphics and the system will know what to take out, if there’s something on the screen, at the exact moment.

At the finals of Copa Libertadores and Copa Total Sudamericana wTVision also integrated tracking data to provide an even more detailed coverage, using SportVU from Stats.
