ISE 2015: Canon Europe Highlights Advances in Lens Technology

Canon Europe is showcasing the importance of lens technology at ISE 2015 (Hall one, stand F72). The stand delivers an immersive experience that celebrates the power of advances in lens technology, allowing attendees to learn more at three key zones – color, refraction, and brightness. This experience will showcase how Canon’s research into lens technology has led to major advances in projection quality and capabilities.

Throughout the event, reflection and brightness will be demonstrated with Canon’s Aspectual Illumination System (AIS) and LCOS technology, developed to enable exceptional contrast and brightness, and provide faithful color realism and seamless images. At the colour zone, Canon will also be showcasing an exclusive installation project made possible by Canon’s innovations in lens technology.

The refraction zone will highlight the ease with which Canon’s projectors can be adapted to meet the needs of end users and system integrators to create exciting and unique installations.

Canon will also display its high quality range of projectors within the individual zones. The recently launched flagship installation projector, XEED WUX6000, will be on display in the brightness zone, demonstrating how it retains its brightness, with minimum drop and no loss of image resolution, even when used with different lenses. The capabilities of the XEED WUX400ST will be showcased in the refraction zone, demonstrating its short throw capabilities of producing a 100 inch image from a distance of just 1.2 metres, allowing new applications.

Andreas Herrnböck, European Business Development Manager Projector, Visual Communications, Canon Europe, says: “This immersive experience we’re creating at ISE 2015 will truly help our visitors to see and experience our projectors’ leading capabilities. Thanks to the strength of our 70 year heritage in imaging, we recognise the importance of bringing beautiful images to life. It is this passion and commitment that drives the design of our projectors. ISE 2015 provides the perfect opportunity to invite partners and end-users to visit our stand and experience the different zones for themselves.”

This is Canon’s eighth consecutive year exhibiting at ISE. The event provides a key opportunity to engage with partners and Canon experts will be available on stand to meet with the industry and answer any questions. There will also be a range of partners in attendance, discussing the advantages of working with Canon’s industry leading AV technology.
