Nexvision Studios Joins The Switch-Chicago

Nexvision Studios has joined The Switch-Chicago with an HD-SDI video circuit. The Chicago metro area has over 10 million people and 7 million of them live outside the city.  To meet the production needs of those outside of the city, Nexvision has located its studios in Aurora, the second largest city in Illinois.
Just 30 minutes west of the city of Chicago, Nexvision is in the middle of the area known as “Silicon Prairie”.  Parking is right at the front door, a few steps to the studio, making it a rarity among Chicago liveshot locations.  From multicam media tours to a network live talkback to tape feeds to streaming events, partnering with Nexvision makes sense for The Switch.

Nexvision has two studios to meet the needs of any live shot requirement. The Nexus talkback studio is 15’ x 20’ and is designed for guest comfort. The room is well appointed for a natural setting. Optionally, the client can choose a moving HD video backdrop from a list of popular Chicago live locations. Or, Nexvision can take your imagery and put it up behind the guest to complete a branded look.

The larger studio is 30’x50’ with a 25’ ceiling.  This versatile studio can be configured to a multitude of options.  It is used for multiple camera media tours as well as live streaming events.  A 12’ overhead door allows for sets and large products to be easily moved in and out.  It is equipped with a light grid and light control and 18’ curtains. Either studio can take advantage of a large makeup room and private guest restroom.
