Qatar TV and Al Kass Sports Channel Standardize on Elemental Video Streaming

Elemental Technologies announced the selection of its video processing systems to stream video content for Qatar TV and its sister network, the Al Kass Sports Channel (Al Kass Sports Channels). The leading Arabic networks are using solutions from Elemental to process and deliver video for distribution to a worldwide audience on mobile phones and tablets, generate additional advertising revenue and prepare for World Cup 2022.

Elemental Live, Elemental Server and Elemental Conductor systems transcode up to 14 hours daily of high-definition (HD) live content, video-on-demand (VOD) for catch-up TV, and cinematic content, delivering 25 HLS adaptive outputs for portable devices. The state-owned broadcasters also use solutions from Elemental as an archiving system.
