RR Media Bolsters Digital Distribtution of Live International Judo Federation Content
Digital media services specialist RR Media has partnered with the International Judo Federation (IJF) to become the main digital media services provider for all Judo championships, including the Grand Prix, Gland Slam and World Masters.
This partnership sees RR Media take footage from live events and digitally manage the content so that it can be accessed and delivered efficiently to international takers. The IJF will use content for video footage, news bulletins, online video, broadcaster distribution and highlight programs. Different international takers will also have the ability to access highlight footage of individual players as and when required.
The mass of video footage will be digitally stored with complete metadata added to it, enabling rights holders to access the video content effectively with a simple search processes. Utilizing RR Media’s self-developed,self-service digital media asset management platform means that the IJF and other content rights holders can easily access judo-specific video materials. Through this platform, RR Media delivers content quickly andefficiently to any taker, anywhere in the world.
