Home Team Sports Names Michael Galante VP, Creative Partnerships

Home Team Sports, the FOX-owned sales entity that represents every regional sports network in the country, has named Michael Galante Vice President, Creative Partnerships. Galante is based in New York and reports to Craig Sloan, Senior Vice President, Home Team Sports.
In this role, Galante is responsible for Home Team Sports’ creative strategy and custom-idea process for client-direct and agency partnerships.
“Michael is a great addition to our business,” said Sloan. “He’s a strategic thinker with sharp creative instincts who can help Home Team Sports design thoughtful, targeted, custom solutions for advertisers that only HTS and the RSN model can provide.”
Galante joins Home Team Sports from the NBA’s Global Marketing Partnerships group, where he led efforts in developing promotional marketing ideas to help the NBA’s New Business team secure sponsors, as well as assisting their Partnership Management team to up-sell opportunities to blue chip companies. With deep experience in creating customized solutions for partners and prospects based on their objectives, Galante also managed the NBA’s Marketing Solutions team that concentrated on International business development.
Prior to joining the NBA, Galante worked at ESPN for seven years in the Creative Works department, which acted as the network’s internal creative agency. Galante and team developed various multi-media creative elements and marketing programs to reach ESPN’s audience on-air, online, in-book, in-mobile, and social media channels. The scope of work included managing solutions across the full range of ESPN’s sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
