Levels Beyond and Rightsline Announce Strategic Partnership

Levels Beyond and Rightsline have entered into a software development partnership. The partnership between Levels Beyond, creators of Reach Engine — a software platform providing streamlined media management, distribution, optimization, and monetization capabilities — and Rightsline, a software-as-a-service rights and contract management platform, will provide a cloud-based, easy, and affordable rights and asset management solution for the media industry.

Both companies understand that in today’s rapidly evolving media landscape, there is a critical need for rights and media management to operate hand in hand. Under the terms of the new agreement, the companies will develop joint APIs to support visual integration within both platforms. Users of either Rightsline or Reach Engine will be able to see and edit rights metadata, as well as execute automated or roll-based manual actions within either company’s interface.

“The powerful combination of Rightsline and Reach Engine offers media companies greater flexibility and control than ever before,” said Art Raymond, CEO of Levels Beyond. “Content owners and licensees must have rock solid, up-to-date rights information about every minute of sellable content at their fingertips, and the results of this exciting new partnership are going to give our clients just that.”

“Media rights holders know they can no longer afford to miss a sale or distribution opportunity because rights information is not easily accessible,” commented David Straus, a founder of Critical Mass Studios, Rightsline’s parent company. “We’re very pleased to be partnering with Levels Beyond to deliver a cloud-based solution that eliminates this problem for our customers.”

Reach Engine, Levels Beyond’s media inventory platform, serves a number of content creation and distribution businesses, including advertising, sports, media and entertainment, and publishing. Their diverse client list includes Kroger Foods, The New York Times, The Mill UK, Sundance Institute, Craftsy, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Rightsline’s platform supports some of the largest studios, media companies and MSO’s in the world, while also providing its services to
content providers of virtually any size.
