Seen on Screen: ESPN Back to Televise Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement; Fox Sports Unveils Bundesliga Coverage in U.S.

…ESPN will televise the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony for the 21st consecutive year on Saturday, August 8, at 7 p.m. ET. Host Trey Wingo will anchor coverage on ESPN (and WatchESPN) from Canton, Ohio, with NFL analyst Tom Jackson, senior NFL Insider Chris Mortensen and national correspondent Sal Paolantonio.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2015 includes two members of ESPN’s NFL analyst team: Jerome Bettis, a six-time Pro Bowl running back with 13,662 career yards, and Front Office Insider Bill Polian, a six-time NFL Executive of the Year. …FOX Sports embarks on its inaugural season as the U.S. home to the Bundesliga, Germany’s top professional soccer league, on Friday, Aug. 14, expanding its multi-platform domestic coverage to unprecedented levels. More than 300 regular-season matches are scheduled for live television or streaming in the U.S. for the first time ever, more than double past years, including 58 slated for FOX Sports 1. The Bundesliga season consists of 306 matches played from August to May. In addition to the 58 games telecast on FOX Sports 1, 60 are earmarked for FOX Sports 2, and the remainder offered via FOX Soccer Plus. On the Spanish-language side, FOX Deportes is set to televise 105 matches. …ROOT SPORTS and the Mountain West Conference announced that the network will televise nine live MW football games in 2015. This will mark ROOT SPORTS’ third season as the official regional television partner of the Mountain West. ROOT SPORTS will kick off its coverage on September 5 at 1:30 p.m. MT, as the Air Force Falcons host the Morgan State Bears at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colorado. ROOT SPORTS will showcase several of the long-running and intense rivalries in the region, including the Rio Grande Rivalry featuring New Mexico State at New Mexico (October 3), as well as Colorado State at New Mexico (November 21), and UNLV at Wyoming (November 28).
