Seen on Screen: NBC Premiers First Primetime Heavyweight Title Fight in 30 Years; Prime Ticket/FOX Sports West Announces Clippers Schedule

Premier Boxing Champions returns to primetime on NBC this Saturday, Sept. 26, at 8:30 p.m. ET, highlighted by heavyweight champion and Alabama native Deontay “The Bronze Bomber”” Wilder (34-0, 22KOs) making his second title defense, facing France’s Johann “Reptile” Duhaupas (32-2, 20 KOs) from Legacy Arena in Birmingham, AL. The broadcast will be the first heavyweight title bout in primetime on NBC since May 20, 1985, when another undefeated American heavyweight champion, Larry Holmes, defended his title against Carl Williams in Reno, NV. PBC on NBC will showcase three undefeated American heavyweight boxers Dominic “Trouble” Breazeale (15-0, 14 KOs), of Glendale, CA, facing “Big” Fred Kassi (18-3-1, 10 KOs), and St. Louis, Mo., native Charles “Missouri” Martin (21-0-1, 19 KOs) squaring off against Vicente “Bufalo” (15-4, 10 KOs). Play-by-play announcer Marv Albert and analysts Sugar Ray Leonard and B.J. Flores will call the action…

…The Los Angeles Clippers and Prime Ticket/FOX Sports West announced the team’s broadcast schedule for the 2015-16 season, highlighted by 71 regional television broadcasts and 33 nationally televised contests. Prime Ticket and its sister network, FOX Sports West, will regionally telecast a total of 71 Clippers regular season games and three preseason contests during the upcoming season throughout Southern California. All games airing in Los Angeles on Prime Ticket will also be available in San Diego on Fox Sports San Diego. In addition, all Clippers game televised on Prime Ticket will also be streamed live on Fox Sports Go. In their 20th season overall as a telecast partner and seventh season as the sole television home for the Clippers, Prime Ticket and FOX Sports West will provide all game telecasts in High Definition (HD)…

…Boston’s Fenway Park will host a big air skiing and snowing event from Feb. 11-12 of next year. NBCSN will air live coverage on Thursday, Feb. 11, 8:30-10 p.m. ET, of the men’s and women’s snowboarding events and on Friday, Feb. 12, 9:00-10:30 p.m. ET, of the men’s and women’s free skiing events. The big air ramp will be 110 feet high and run from center field to home plate. For perspective, the Green Monster left-field wall is 37 feet high.
