Job Posting: Ball State University Seeks Assistant Director of Digital Sports Production

Ball State University currently has an opening for an Assistant Director of Digital Sports Production to work in the university’s Department of Telecommunications and the Ball State Sports Link program.

ball_state_logoThe opening is for a contract faculty position that will be available on August 19, 2016. Responsibilities include teaching digital production courses with an emphasis in sports and collaborating with the supervision of Sports Link, Ball State University’s groundbreaking immersive learning sports media content production unit.

Minimum qualifications:  master’s degree in telecommunications, communications, media arts, or related field; at least two years of experience in live sports, or related, event productions; package production experience; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and non-linear editing software.

Preferred qualifications:  terminal degree; at least five years of experience iin live sports, or related; event productions.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
