Reality Check Systems
RCS recently partnered with Facebook to create Facebook Now, which curates Facebook data and enables a controller to select the specific data to display. That data is synthesized and transformed into an on-screen graphic visualization, all in real time. RCS was able to take advantage of Facebook’s Media Solutions Program, which recently debuted new broadcaster tools that provide access to data from the social network. Currently, the custom-built application runs in Facebook’s New York and Menlo Park, CA, offices on displays powered by RCS’s Ignite solution, which combines real-time data and breaking news with customized 3D graphics, and Vizrt technology. The displays can be configured using a variety of modifiable templates to bring real-time Facebook data to life, including the most-liked posts, most-commented-on trends, most-popular Instagram photos, and much more.

RT Software
RT Software will be demonstrating a new 4K video-stitch solution for live production. tOG-Vista uses two low-cost static 4K/UHD cameras to create a 7680×2160-pixel canvas within which two operators can concurrently control two live HD “virtual cameras.” The company will also demonstrate graphics solutions for big sports shows and events: its new luminance keyer can add virtual advertising that is indistinguishable from the traditional painted-on approach. RT will also show off the latest features of its proven telestration and analysis solutions. Rounding out the booth will be tOG-2d Pro, a new feature-packed low-cost 2D graphics system. With RT’s broadcast-graphics solutions established in the 3D space, tOG-2d Pro fills the 2D gap in the market.

Scale Logic
Scale Logic will showcase its line of storage solutions, workflow infrastructure, data center services, and more. Featured products include:

  • Genesis Unlimited: A scale-out NAS and SAN storage appliance designed for ease of use for sports venues and broadcasts. With an enterprise-level file system and no per-seat client cost, the Genesis Unlimited makes it easy to create a workflow that scales with your expanding content requirements.
  • The Genesis single or dual-controller bundle: The innovation of the Genesis IAP server combined with the power of a Genesis DX2 RAID, this solution provides stability and high-performance in one metadata server cluster.
  • HyperFS: A scalable, global file system supporting both block and file-based protocols. HyperFS delivers both high-bandwidth SAN and dynamic, on-the-fly scale-out-NAS functionality.

Teradek
Teradek will exhibit its combination of IP broadcast solutions, including the recently announced Cube 600 series, Core cloud management workflow, cellular-bonding technology, and point-to-point zero-delay systems. Along with product demonstrations, the company will be offering recent case studies, including the NHL’s goal-cam system, Chicago Cub’s Beam application, and the AT&T Park drone project, to name a few.
